Transforming Maui’s invasive species into assets.
Deeply connected to the land, Savage Kitchen Maui aims to preserve the ‘aina from invasive plant species. In doing so, the endemic species can continue to thrive and sustain the people of Hawaiʻi, it’s wonderful culture, and the beautiful land that both locals and visitors love. Want to be involved?
We’re always searching for people to help build community. There are the foraging trips and processing of wild foods which we need help with, but also a list of other activities if you’re interested. Maybe you have experience with apps and can assist us in that way, or advertising so we can get it out to the wider community, or maybe you’d like to be an administrator for your moku, or maybe you’re a graphic designer who can help us with product labels.
